The movie of summer 2014!
It's a bit early to say this…but X-Men: Days of Future Past is going to be THE movie of summer 2014. I recently saw the preview of this film and it blew me away.

All about Arrow
ALL ABOUT ARROW!
Well…I only know a few people that actually watch Arrow. Arrow is based of the DC comic superhero, the Green Arrow. Also, his trusty sidekick, Speedy and the Black Canary. Arrow airs on the CW on Wednesday nights. This show offers both elements of action, romance, drama, and some comedy.
This show is in it's sophomore year and no it's not subject to the "sophomore curse." Unfortunately some shows are canceled after season 2. It is important that the storyline continues to flow or fans will say bye bye. Arrow is better than ever.
The Green Arrow is played by up and coming actor, Stephen Amell. Mr. Amell is a Canadian actor and so far his acting skills seem "premature." He does the best he can to deliver dramatic scenes. I would love to him in a more comical role to prove that he is verstatlie as an actor (sorry ladies and gents he is married with child).
Background on Green Arrow:
The Green Arrow aka Oliver Queen is a wealthy and spoiled boy that is shipwrecked on a island while he was on a vacation getaway with his girlfriend's little sister. The boat crashed killing his girlfriend's sister (more on her later). On this island, Oliver is subjected to hunger and beatings. What ever happened on this island, Oliver Queen, was not the same man when he was rescued and brought back to Silver City (think of Gotham City). Oliver comes back and he wants to right the wrongs.
In season you find Oliver growing into himself and introduces Silver City to "The Hood." Also, he makes new allies in season one but has to deal with the pain he left behind. His fighting and archery skills are decent but I believe he can get stronger.
SEASON 2:
The Green Arrow was granted his official superhero name in this season. He is dealing with the repercussions on season 1. He had lost people close to him but he also defeated a villain. This season, many new villains are being introduced. However, his trusty sidekick, Speedy aka Roy Harper, has yet to prove himself to the Arrow. Roy is simply Roy at this point in the show. Roy is working on building Arrow's trust by being his eyes and ears around the city. Oh and Roy does not know Oliver Queen is Arrow.
The Black Canary, she is the future wife of the Green Arrow according to comics. She was recently introduced and has only had a few screen time. Looks like we'll be seeing more of her. Also, she is KICK ASS.
Give this show a shot! I highly recommend it because I feel it is the best "old" show of the season.

Fall shows...my permanent schedule
After reviewing a majority of the new fall shows and revisiting the "olds" I have formulated my official fall TV schedule. I will be discussing these shows as the season moves forward and also keeping everyone up to date on which shows will be renewed or canceled.
Saturday: Saturday Night Live
Sunday: Once Upon a Time
Monday: Dancing with the Stars, Blacklist, Sleepy Hollow, and How I Met Your Mother
Tuesday: Brooklyn Nine-Nine (most likely will be canceled but I must keep going), Supernatural, Marvel's Agents of Shield
Wednesday: Modern Family, Law and Order SVU, Arrow, and Criminal Minds
Thursday: The Big Bang Theory, The Crazy Ones, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Parks and Recreation, and Elementary

Now we all know that late spring and summer are the best times for movie releases. This past summer we saw such great films as: Pacific Rim, Man of Steel, World War Z, Iron Man 3 and many others. Now it's time for the WINTER FILMS!
Winter films sneak in and make up for the lackluster fall films. This winter we look forward to "the twos." By "the twos" I mean the sequels or part 2 of films. Such films to look forward to include:
Thor: The Dark World (November 8th)
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (November 22nd)
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (December 20th)
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (December 13th)
For these films I will most likely attend the midnight showing (or now a days its the 10pm showing). Stay tuned for reviews. I will keep everyone updated via FaceBook and word of mouth.

FALL!
Sorry it's been so long since my last post..."life" got in the way. Let's talk about my favorite time of the year! FALL!!!
This 2013-2014 Fall TV schedule has been quite enthralling with tons of new series. I have watched almost all of the series premieres so I can give you guys the 411 on which ones to keep and which one to skip.
The keepers:
Sleepy Hollow, Agents of Shield (hate to say it but I'm true to Marvel), Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Blacklist (amazing), The Crazy Ones, and Ironside.
Pending:
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
No thanks, skip:

Just a warning to those who wish to get into Brooklyn Nine-Nine...it might not last. The series is on it's third episode with the rating dropping each week. This series premiered at 6 million viewers and has dropped to 3 million. I doubt there is much to be done to make it better since the show is what I call "simple fun."
The best series in the "keepers" list would have to be Blacklist. This series is both thrilling and well thought out. The plot is amazing along with James Spader and his incredible acting ability. Check it out!
